Worksite Assessments
The purpose of a worksite assessment is to determine the specific job demands an employee must meet, and what accommodations will allow them to perform their work successfully.
These assessments take into consideration the individual needs of the employee, as related to their job, and determine areas of work that may be difficult or challenging. Feedback from the employer is also essential, including a discussion of employee strengths and challenges, and particular aspects of the job that are important to address.
Additional occupational therapy intervention may also be appropriate, aimed at helping the employee to build skills and develop strategies that allow them to meet the demands of their position.
